Hooray! It's finally done!
After months and months of working on the playroom/office bit by bit,
it is finally finished!
You know that room in your house where you put everything that doesn't match
and everything that you're not sure what to do with?
That's what this room was and I was so thrilled to start organizing it
and making into a beautiful office and a whimsical playroom.
Take a look at what the room looked like before:
The piece that really sparked my imagination into wanting to redesign the room
was this old desk that I got from my friend's yard sale.
I immediately saw past all of the scratches...
and past the water stains.
In my mind I could see it in a white clean color.
So I took that idea and I ran with it.
So I brainstormed
and I bargain hunted
and I pulled out things that I already had that matched my vision.
I decided to accent all of the white in the room with pink, navy, and gold.
my hubby was so nice to sand the desk down,
and we finally finished the masterpiece after a lot of work!
I wanted to badly to create a room that would match the laughter
and dream following that would be taking place in it.
So here are the final results -
my office filled with inspiration and motivation
and Svea's playroom filled with whimsy and imagination!
